A new version of the Sims 4 Legacy Challenge that changes the original rules to make it less complicated and more fun, over 10 generations.

The Legacy Challenge was created years ago by Pinstar and, as The Sims saga moved forward, several changes were made to adapt it to the game.
This time, I bring you the rules of the Legacy Challenge with a few changes so it is not so complicated, without losing its original essence.
If you want to see the original rules, you can go to the Pekesims page to read the literal translation of all these rules.
Watch the first episode here:
Rules for The Sims 4 Legacy Challenge
The main rule is simple and we will not change it: play with a single family for 10 generations.
The other rules you will find after this are there to add some fun to the game.
I repeat, these rules are changes I made to the original challenge.
Starting the Legacy Challenge
Here you can create whatever sim you want, whether a man, a woman, gender-neutral, a vampire, an alien, a mermaid, a merman, seriously, whatever you like. But it must be a Young Adult.
What I do recommend is that you think of a really good last name that can last 10 generations.
Yes, this is the first rule: even if you marry someone else, your sims must keep the original last name. It cannot be changed.
The second rule is that you must create ONLY ONE SIM since this is the one who will start everything.
You will give this sim traits, and also a goal in life, which you must fully complete. This life goal is what we call ASPIRATIONS. If you complete the aspiration before your heir sim dies, you can choose another, but you do not have to complete it. This is so they have some kind of purpose before dying.
After you have made your sim, move them to an empty lot; here you can choose any lot. In the original challenge you have to choose the biggest lot, but in this case, choose one that is big enough.
IMPORTANT!
You will NEVER be able to move, so choose carefully which lot you want, because the ideal is to see the passing of the generations' time in the same house.
DELETE ALL THE MONEY YOU HAVE!
After buying the lot where you and your next generations will live, it is time to delete the money you have left. To learn how to do it, you can go to my cheats page by clicking the button below:
Once you have deleted the money, you will have to start finding a way to support yourself. The first week will be the hardest, especially if you decided to start in Winter. This week you can only live off nature. Take advantage and improve your skills as much as you can, since in the second week you must find a job.
From this moment, in the second week, for this generation, you are forbidden from getting money from nature. That is, you cannot dig, collect metals, or fish. You can only collect harvests if you have them planted at your house and if you have the gardener job or some gardening aspiration.
Before your sim becomes an adult, they must have at least a house with at least 2 bedrooms.
In search of love
While making their way into the workforce, your sim must also find love. Before reaching adulthood they must be married and have a baby or child.
If they marry a sim of the same gender, they can adopt.
The sim who moves into the house as a spouse cannot contribute any money, so you will have to delete this sim's money.
Your sim's husband or wife may take the family's last name, but your sim cannot take their spouse's last name.
The sim your heir marries must not have children.

The heirs
In this case you can follow the rules of the Original Challenge, which you can find at the link I left above, or follow these rules:
Only the firstborn son or daughter, whether adopted or not, can inherit the legacy. They only have to follow the same rules as their parent.
Gender does not matter; the firstborn must carry on the Legacy.
As for their traits, you must choose them at random. From the second generation on, you cannot choose your heir sim's traits.
From the second generation on, and only for the first week, they can make money from nature, in case they need extra money. However, from this generation on they must get a job from the first week.
If your heir has multiple births, the heir will be the baby who was born first.
If they have more than one (1) child, the others must leave the house only when they reach the Young Adult age.

At work
The heir sim must have a job outside the home; they cannot have freelance jobs or earn money independently.
Jobs where you can go in person are allowed, such as acting, medicine, police, science.
They must reach the top of their career only if you are playing in normal mode.
If you are playing in short lifespan mode, just focus on making whatever money you can for the next generations; after all, your sim will die soon, no matter what you do.
Lot Rules
You cannot move house once the first sim of the challenge moves in.
Each generation must have a new house. They may have the same last name, but they will surely not have the same style. So you must build or download a new house from the gallery.
Keep in mind that it must fit on the original lot. So be careful.
THESE ARE THE RULES OF THE DECADES CHALLENGE

Other important rules
- It goes without saying that you cannot cheat; cheats are not allowed here, unless it is to change the clothes of the sim who is going to marry your heir, or the bb.moveobjects cheat for building. Other cheats are not allowed.
- You cannot revive any sim; you can beg the Grim Reaper, but if they die, you cannot bring them back. Goodbye.
- Sims you move out of the house cannot be brought back unless your heir dies without leaving children. Then, the brother or sister, if there is one, is the one who will take over the generation.
- You cannot play with other sims. You can only play with your Legacy household
- You can create any holiday you want
- Your sims CANNOT BUY LOTTERY TICKETS
- YOU CANNOT HAVE A MONEY TREE. If you get the seed, sell it. You can keep the money you earned from the seed.
This version of the challenge will not have a points system. What matters is that you reach generation 10 and have fun.
