MIA ROMANO'S STORY: NEW LET'S PLAY

RECOMMENDED: THE SIMS 4 PLATFORM CHALLENGE
It was a challenge I had way too much fun with, but it is time to move on and start a week dedicated to the environment.
If you do not know yet, The Sims is going to release a new expansion, The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle and I must say I am extremely excited about this pack. That is why I have decided to start a new Let’s Play.
It is not a challenge, it is a story I hope to develop with you, however, I do not like starting from scratch with any Sim, I like there to be a background. That is why I decided to work off-camera with a sim.
Her name is Mia Romano, and this is her story.
AND WOW, MIA HAS HAD AN INTERESTING LIFE…
WE ARE LEAVING EVERGREEN HARBOR
Mia lived in Evergreen Harbor, however, after losing her parents, she decided to leave this city, not only because she felt lonely, but also because she had been accepted to the University of her dreams, Foxbury Institute, to study Biology with honors.
With the little money she had saved, she wanted to live alone for the first time #singlelife… although Mia had not the slightest idea what a single life was.
Nor did she have any idea how to socialize, which is why she decided to move into a small house, really VERY small, not only to cut costs, but also to live with nature while helping the environment.
Yes, Mia LOVES NATURE. Her dream in life is to be a collector; let's say she is a bit of a hoarder, but not so much that we should worry.
She decided to move into a small house in Newcrest, near a lake that allowed her to raise her Fishing skill (although Mia is vegetarian, she fished and collected the fish, keeping them safe and sound) and, in addition, she was able to gather different gems and seeds that helped her collection of “weird things” grow.
During the 3 years she lived in this house, she went through days when she did not believe she would manage to graduate from university, until she became the best in her class, and of course, got abducted, not once but twice by visitors from other planets… At least they did not plant their seed in her… phew 👽👽👽👽
She had several odd jobs, but what Mia really wanted was to be surrounded by her plants and by space. She loves both heat and cold, there is never a middle ground for her.
Oh! And she cannot spend much time outside when it rains, because mysteriously she is always chased by lightning.
SERIOUSLY... SHE WAS ABDUCTED TWICE!
I DON'T KNOW WHO I AM
Like everyone at some point in our lives, we have that doubt that we do not know who we are or what we want in life. The exact same thing happened to Mia.
Although she was studying Biology, she did not know what she would do after University. Did she want to be a scientist and work in a laboratory discovering new things? It sounds interesting, but that means spending the whole day shut in, and that was not what she wanted.
Did she want to be a botanist? It was possible, but she already loved plants enough to follow that path; maybe it would be better to leave it as a hobby.
Other options were bodybuilder and marine biologist… The first was not a real option; although she had a sports scholarship (she does not know exactly how she got it, but she had to play soccer on the university team to keep it), she is not an athlete, and she had no plans to become one.
And the second option… the truth is she had never thought about it. She used to live in a house very close to the bay, but she never heard the call of the sea… maybe it is her moment?

SOMEONE WOULD COME INTO HER LIFE
While Mia was still deciding about her future, she went to the Love Festival because she might find some interesting plants, however, when she drank a little of the Sakura tea, the Fortune Teller told her she would soon find the love of her life.
Mia did not believe in those things; how could she find someone if she never socialized?
Surely you wonder why Mia did not socialize? It is not that she was antisocial, she simply never had an interest in having friends; she considered her plants, gems and space to be her friends… yes… I know, Mia is a bit of a nerd.
However, fate had a surprise for her. Remember when I told you Mia was on the soccer team? Eva was on it too.
EVA KIND, THERE IS NO ONE AS 'KIND' AS HER
Eva also studies at the Institute, but her major is Computer Science. Just like her last name, she is kind, although a bit mischievous. Mia and Eva became friends almost immediately. Eva definitely managed to “bring Mia out of her shell”.
Since Eva came into Mia's life, Mia smiles more, goes out more and even managed to decide what she wanted to do after university. It seemed Eva had a good kind of power over Mia.
However, Mia was confused; she had never felt the feelings she felt for Eva, and she was afraid, not only of losing the chance to be with her, but of losing her as a friend.
But Mia had already run away enough, so she decided to ask Eva… “Do you want to go on a date with me?”… and guess what happened?

THE MOMENT OF THE BIG DECISION
Mia was about to graduate, so it was time to decide which job she would apply for.
Before graduation, and after dating for 6 months, Mia suggested to Eva that they move in together, so the two of them began sharing their lives. One day, Mia was called for a frog-collecting job in Sulani. She did not want to go, but Eva told her she would go with her and help her.
They both went, and it was at that moment that Mia knew exactly what she wanted to do.
It was as if the call of the sea had arrived at just the right time. Marine Biologist, that was what she was destined to be. And it was all thanks to Eva; if she had not gone with her to Sulani, maybe Mia would never have known.
So she made an important decision… She would ask Eva to marry her. And what better place to propose than Sulani?
A NEW BEGINNING
Because Eva had a problem with one of her subjects, she could not graduate in the semester she was supposed to, so the plans to move to Sulani were postponed for a few months.
Mia decided to stay in Newcrest with Eva; she had no problem traveling for as many days as necessary, but she did not want to be apart from Eva.
She could only think that she did not want to lose another minute of her life without being by her side. The two were happy.
Mia decided they would both move into a new house; she already had the perfect one in sight. A small eco cabin with enough space for the two of them, surrounded by nature, just as Mia loves.
“This is what happiness is about” Mia thought as she watched Eva smile.
However, the luck of both was about to change.
One ordinary day, Eva decided to make breakfast for Mia; she knew she loved bread with vegan cheese. She set to work, but suddenly a fire started… the fire spread so fast that Eva had no time to react… Although Mia tried to put it out… it was too late, Eva had died.
Mia was devastated, she did not know what to do, the house was in flames, the love of her life was dead; if only she had one more chance, she would give her life for her love…
She did not want to lose her.
But not all was lost…
Death had come to take Eva, but Mia was willing to fight. So she begged and begged Death to give her beloved Eva her life back, and after thinking it over, Death, seeing that Mia truly loved Eva, decided to listen to her pleas and brought her back to life.
Luck was smiling on Mia and Eva again. They both decided to move the wedding date up as soon as possible, and Eva also told Mia that it was time to take their things and follow Mia's path of living in Sulani. Everything seemed perfect.
DON'T CELEBRATE YET, MIA
Yes, Mia and Eva overcame death, however, life was about to show them that you cannot always win.
A few days after moving to Sulani, Mia received a letter from a distant relative, asking her to return to Evergreen Harbor, because the city where she was born was in danger.
And maybe she was the only one who could save it.
