The Sims 4 ChallengeSurviving on Minimum Wage

How hard could this challenge be? *insert evil laugh* That is what I thought when I decided to do this challenge. Honestly I do not know if anyone else has done it already; if so, comments will be enabled so you can let me know. But a few days ago I wondered, what would a Sims 4 challenge be like where my characters have to survive on minimum wage? And the truth is that it was a HUGE DISASTER! If you like short but fun challenges, this challenge is great for you.

Important!

For this challenge to work you need the Cottage Living and Eco Lifestyle packs. You could adapt the challenge to the base game if you want.

In addition, you must not use any money cheat; you may use bb.moveobjects or cas.fulleditmode, but no cheat that gives you an advantage in work, promotions or money.

RULES: SURVIVING ON MINIMUM WAGE IN THE SIMS 4

Main goal: Manage to pay the bill that arrives every week without suffering any utility cut-off or having your things taken away.

You can choose a sim of any age and any aspiration, there are no rules here. After you have created them, you must move your sim into any lot they can afford with the starting funds.

Lot Rules

✅ You cannot sell anything from the lot

✅ You must choose the SIMPLE LIVING lot challenge

✅ At the mailbox, choose neighborhood action plans (here you do have to use cheats) water and energy conservation

Gameplay rules

✅ Start in a profession from the first level, and work your way up to success

✅ You can knit, embroider and sell it on Plopsy, but it must not be your main income

✅ If the house you live in has an extra bedroom, and you can do it, post a roommate ad to help you pay the expenses

✅ You can do odd jobs

✅ You must order food from the store or harvest it

THINGS YOU CANNOT DO

❌ You cannot sell anything from the garden or anything you gather; everything you harvest (if you do) must be used for cooking

❌ It is forbidden to take San Myshuno posters and sell them

❌ Do not accept the inheritance for money

❌ Do not go to festivals where the prizes are money

You can play this challenge until your sim is able to pay their bills comfortably. When you have enough money available you can move into an empty lot and build your dream house… if minimum wage allows it.
