The Sims 4 base game will be updated to include a new emotion before the launch of the new The Sims 4 Paranormal pack.
The first DLC of the 2021 game was officially confirmed on Tuesday with a revealing trailer, and the Paranormal pack live stream is scheduled for January 22.

Now sims will be able to feel scared
Base game updates are usually released a week before a new pack launches, so we simmers will get a gift before that date.
Sim Guru Conor, one of the game designers who worked on the Paranormal Stuff Pack, revealed that a new emotional state will be added to the base game in an update.
Scared? With the new Sims 4 base game update, it will be possible for your sim to feel fear in any situation that causes this mood.
Specifically for the pack, Sim Guru Conor said there will be a new reward trait for this pack that will influence the fear emotion.
In addition, the new pack will include the return of the fan-favorite NPC, Bonehilda, as well as a new Paranormal Investigator career, a new haunted house lot trait and more.
